Founded in 1997 by Ben and Pam Patterson, Agape House offers a home and school for boys ages 12-16, and girls ages 12-18 who come in hopes of overcoming cyclical abuse through educational, spiritual and emotional support.  Agape House offers a 10-month program led by licensed educators, counselors, house parents and resident assistants to aid in the healing process.  Individualized educational programs for at-risk students based on educational and emotional needs rather than age.

Bloom360 Learning Community

Bloom360 is an innovative learning community serving young people ages 5-21 with neuro-diverse needs who are homeschooled or enrolled in their full school program. Bloom360 nurtures each learner’s strengths, cultivates positive relationships, and focuses on social-emotional learning through hands-on projects. The staff includes occupational therapists, specially trained educators and a social worker.

Catholic Charities of Southeast Wisconsin
Serving southeast Wisconsin for 100 years, Catholic Charities helps people affected by poverty improve their well-being. In Walworth County, Catholic Charities provides high-quality, bilingual, culturally sensitive behavioral health services to help people with low income, no insurance, and Spanish-speaking residents improve their mental health and daily functioning.

Community Action, Inc. of Rock and Walworth Counties

Community Action was founded in 1965 as part of Lyndon Johnson’s “War on Poverty” initiatives.  Their focus has always been to prevent and reduce poverty in local communities.  The agency provides over 20 anti-poverty programs and services for individuals and families ranging from childcare to affordable housing, emergency shelter, weatherization, health care and education, and employment and training programs.

Dementia Friendly Community Initiative – Walworth County
DFCI works to identify, cultivate and continually support champions in local neighborhoods to enable and equip leaders to develop strategies to achieve dementia friendly communities. DFCI increases awareness through education and by sharing resources, and provides inclusive programs and activities to foster respect, compassion & support.

EASD Resiliency Coalition, in partnership with Elkhorn Area School District, is a group of community volunteers who are committed to building a stronger partnership together by increasing awareness and developing a skill set in the area of social emotional wellness.
Resilience is the ability to overcome obstacles and is in each one of us. When we use that strength, along with our social emotional wellbeing, we unite as a community.  One way that the EASD Resiliency Coalition achieves this is by partnering with businesses, youth and the community to share each other’s resources.  These resources may include a skill set on mediation, items to help calm a person, or educating how certain activities can be helpful which then encourages actions to become more mentally, socially, and emotionally healthy.

Join the Movement – Stop Human Trafficking
Human trafficking is present in all Wisconsin counties.  Join the Movement is based in Walworth County advocating for victims and focusing on teaching prevention through outreach to middle and high school students.  JTM brings education to the ground level by working with local law enforcement, hospitals and clinics, churches and schools.

Kettle Moraine Land Trust

Kettle Moraine Land Trust preserves the natural heritage of Walworth County and its environs through collaborative conservation and environmental stewardship. The nationally accredited trust owns four nature preserves, holds conservation easements on additional properties, and assists with the restoration and management of publicly held natural areas. KMLT also conducts High School Field Days to engage area students in conservation projects.

myTEAM TRIUMPH provides opportunities for people with diverse abilities to participate in endurance running, biking and triathlon events in the community.  We do this by providing specialized racing equipment, pre-race coordination with race directors for inclusion, training events, and race day support to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

SFFC engages a network of highly screened and trained volunteers who serve as host families (open their homes to children from families in crisis), family friends (provide mentoring/emotional support to families), family coaches (assist parents to meet their goals) and resource friends (provide goods/services for families receiving services).

Seeds of Hope

Seeds of Hope provides an inclusive and safe environment for adults with developmental disabilities, including almost one hundred individuals on a monthly basis. Day programming activities include projects focusing on horticulture and culinary skills, participation in community outings, educational opportunities and physical activity. Seeds of Hope can also be found at community events helping local farmers, schools and small businesses.

TRIAD of Walworth County
TRIAD provides EZ ID services to children, vulnerable adults, and seniors at risk of wandering at no cost. TRIAD also provides education to seniors in the community.

VIP Services

VIP Services helps people with diverse talents and abilities throughout Walworth County. They focus on providing clients with individualized support. VIP Services’ employment and life skills training, social opportunities and transportation services promote individuals to achieve dignity and purpose.

Walworth County Drug and Alcohol Coalition
WALCO DAC aims to provide prevention efforts, education and community awareness to residents of Walworth County on alcohol, drugs and tobacco with great transparency with the hopes of increasing understanding and reducing stigma. WALCO DAC periodically provides free Narcan and training events provided by the Aids Resource Center of Wisconsin.
