Join the Movement – Stop Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is present in all Wisconsin counties.  Join the Movement is based in Walworth County advocating for victims and focusing on teaching prevention through outreach to middle and high school students.  JTM brings education to the ground level by working with local law enforcement, hospitals and clinics, churches and schools.

This includes crisis intervention, safety planning, legal advocacy, individual counseling, housing advocacy, children’s services, support groups, medical advocacy, and information and referral to other relevant community resources.

Open Arms Free Clinic

Open Arms Free Clinic is the first and only free medical clinic in Walworth County. With approximately 8,000 Walworth County residents who do not have health insurance, Open Arms medical and community-minded volunteers provide access to health care and dignity to those in need. OAFC also offers dental, vision, behavioral health, lab and pharmaceutical assistance.

Safe Families for Children

SFFC engages a network of highly screened and trained volunteers who serve as host families (open their homes to children from families in crisis), family friends (provide mentoring/emotional support to families), family coaches (assist parents to meet their goals) and resource friends (provide goods/services for families receiving services).

SMILES provides equine assisted activities and therapies such as therapeutic horseback riding as well as unmounted activities for children and adults with disabilities. Services are available to anyone four years and older regardless of the type of disability.

The Tree House strives to bring child abuse awareness, training, education, prevention programs, and outreach for children, families, schools and community agencies in our area as well as provide support for the Child Advocacy Center of Walworth County.

Trinity Church

Counseling with Pastor Joyce Rossen, MA, LCPC, degree in Psychology, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.  Pastor Joyce meets with individuals, couples or families either via phone or in person at Trinity Church.  A floating scale of a per visit fee is based on a per case basis and financial abilities, if a person is unable to pay the small fee, the church will donate the fee for services.
